Small Size, Big Comeback: iRobot Launches Roomba Mini Series

Just two months after announcing its restructuring, iRobot is signaling a bold return with the debut of the Roomba Mini series in Japan.
Tailored for the demands of compact room living, the lineup includes the Roomba Mini (with Auto-Empty station) and the Roomba Mini Slim (featuring a vertical charging stand). These models are debuting in Japan first, hitting the shelves on Feb 27 and April 6 respectively.

Roomba Mini for Tight Spaces
At just 24.5 cm wide and 9.2 cm tall, it is roughly 50% smaller than conventional robots, allowing it to glide under low-profile sofas and through narrow chair legs where others often struggle.
Don't let the size fool you—its redesigned single-action brush and boosted suction power deliver heavy-duty cleaning in a compact frame.

Navigation & Mopping
Powered by the new ClearView LiDAR system, the Mini series offers rapid mapping and flawless navigation, regardless of lighting conditions.
Transitioning to mopping is seamless: simply attach a disposable cloth to activate the wet-mop mode, which includes smart sensors to avoid your carpets.

Touted as the world's smallest, these models began development late last year and appear to be a "pathfinder" for iRobot's return. Especially, Picea has discontinued 3i as part of a strategic pivot toward the Roomba series. It’s clear that iRobot is ready to reclaim its spot at the forefront of the industry—one small step at a time.
